Built by troubleshooting.

Roughly two decades working in and around automated retail systems — electronics, motors, payment systems, software, communications, manufacturing, installations and all the problems that inevitably appear when technology leaves the lab and enters the real world.

Over time, the systems changed.

Machines became connected platforms.

Hardware became software.

Software became data.

Data increasingly became AI.

The approach stayed surprisingly similar.
